Are Beetles and Invertebrates your thing? Thanks to a kind gift from member Paul Mabbott, Sorby will be selling on many of Paul’s reference materials on invertebrates in general and beetles in particular along with well-kept British Naturalists Journals and others of real interest.

Harry Beumont will also have a collection of Lepidoptera books for sale

The event is open to all and free, with no need to book.

Treeton is a village just over 6 miles from the centre of Sheffield via the A630 Sheffield Parkway. Arundel Street is found when coming from Catcliffe, turning right straight after the traffic lights over the railway bridge (Or if coming from Aughton turn left before the traffic lights) by Cohens Chemist. Then go to the end of Arundel Street, where there is plenty of off-street parking.

Buses from Sheffield

X54 to Harthill leave Sheffield Interchange on the hour from 0800 hrs. and takes about 20 minutes, straight up the Parkway. Alight at Pollywiggle Nursery Treeton. Buses back to Sheffield are 4 minutes past the hour.

There are buses every 30 minutes from Rotherham interchange
