<p>Weevils, the second largest beetle group after the Rove Beetles with over 650 species. Your chance to identify some of them using keys and identification guides. There will be plenty of reference specimens. Please bring along any specimens you may have. Beginners and improvers all welcome. 11am to around 4pm.</p>
<p>Tea and coffee and biscuits will be freely available but bring along a packed lunch or eat at the local café or pub.</p>

<p>We will be getting to grips with the identification of small mammal bones found in owl pellets using hand lenses and microscopes. The workshop is aimed at ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS but there will be opportunities to do more advanced stuff too. Mice, voles, shrews, mole, hedgehog, bats, mustelids, rabbits and hares will be covered plus other bits in owl pellets. We will have a go at sexing mammals from their pelvic bones. Lots of hands-on practical stuff.</p>
<p><strong style="line-height: 1.7em;">This event is indoors. Tea, coffee and biscuits freely available but bring a packed lunch.
