There has been a marked increase in urban and suburban records with nearly complete coverage for all the grid squares in SK 38 (central Sheffield) following recent surveys of urban Foxes. They are widely distributed in the Dark Peak and White Peak, but probably under-recorded in the Dukeries, Worksop, and north-east Derbyshire where more recording effort is required to determine the accurate status of Foxes.
