Gems of Potteric CarrSorby member Derek Bateson has turned to writing and has recently completed a 102 page book on the wildlife of Potteric Carr, including some 280 colour illustrations. In eighteen sections, the book covers a range of wildlife from mammals and birds, through invertebrates, butterflies, moths, dragonflies, bugs, cellular and non-vascular plants, fungi, molluscs other arthropods and aquatic life, all to be found at Potteric Carr including lots of interesting life histories and details of recording techniques.
