Cranefly Identification Workshop

Craneflies are a nice discrete group of Diptera, with a range of interesting life-histories and habits. They are useful habitat indicators with potential for site evaluation. This workshop is for those wishing to get to grips with the identification of craneflies to assist further recording in the field. There are still places available on this Saturday day-school taking place on Saturday 21st November 1998 at the Sheffield City Museum. This workshop will run from 10.30 am. to 4.30 pm., with a break for lunch, and is tutored by Rhodri Thomas. It is FREE, but booking is essential as numbers are limited to 12.
